Coffee

Coffee Arabica is grown at hight altitudes (above 2,000 ft.) between the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer around the globe. Each continent has different characteristics in their coffee, harvest at different times of the year, utilize different processing methods and are generally a significant percentage of their country's Gross Domestic Product.

In general coffee enthusiasts divide the world into three growing regions: Africa, The Americas and Asia/Pacific. The following are basic characteristics of the three growing regions:


Medium to high acidity (a good thing in coffee) and wonderful fruit notes

Medium bodied, balanced acidity and nutty to spicy aromas

Full bodied, earthy with dark chocolate to smoky aromas
